The Institute for Experimental Pathology at Keldur is the Icelandic Veterinary Institute.

The activities of the Institute in terms of basic research and diagnostic services are divided between three divisions.
The Division of Fish Diseases is responsible for research and diagnostics on fish, shellfish and other aquatic organisms. Head of division: Árni Kristmundsson.
The Division of Bacteriology, Parasitology, and Pathology is responsible for research and diagnostics on microbes, parasites and pathology in all animals except aquatic organisms. Head of division: Charlotta Oddsdóttir.
The Division of Virology and Molecular Biology is responsible for research and diagnostics on viruses, prions and immunology in animals as well as basic research projects in molecular biology. Head of division: Vilhjálmur Svansson.
